Edit an exemption request or report

Information for agency users on how to edit a participation plan exemption request or report and how to cancel a request.

Request supplier(s) to submit an exemption report

An agency user that has received an exemption for a tender should request their supplier(s) register for reporting against that tender.

  1. Click on the down arrow next to the record and selected “View details”.
  2. The detailed page displays the summary details of the contract related to the exemption, which is read-only, and includes a link to share with the winning supplier(s) to register for exemption reporting. Click “Copy Link” to copy the URL and email it to the winning supplier(s) so that they can register for reporting and receive email notifications when reports are due.

View an exemption report

  1. Navigate to the required exemption report via the Exemption Reporting tab.
  2. Locate the relevant tender and click on the down arrow to the right of the record and select “View Copy of Report” from the drop-down menu to navigate to the report’s details page.

Edit exemption report

An agency user can edit an Exemption Report only when the status is set as “Clarification Requested”. The status is updated to “Clarification Requested” when WA Industry Link has raised any questions/clarifications related to the report in which case both the agency and supplier contacts can edit the form and resubmit.

Updating contract manager details

  1. The user must first view the Exemption Request in detail. Click on the down arrow next to the record and click on “View details”.
  2. The detailed page displays the summary details of the contract related to the exemption, which is read-only, and the Contact Details which can be updated by the agency user. Update the agency contact details and then click “Update Contact Details”.

Update the contract details for an exemption report

As part of the reporting obligations required under the WAIPS, the WA Government agency must provide the contract spend to date when a report is completed.

  1. Navigate to the required participation plan exemption report from the Exemption Reporting tab.
  2. Click on the down arrow next to the record and select “View Details” to navigate to the exemption’s details page.
  3. Here you can update:
    • Contract number
    • Contract Commencement Date
    • Contract Completion Date
    • Contract Spend to Date (Including GST)
  4. Update the fields as required then click on “Update Contract Details”.
