Who are we?
The Department of Justice supports the community, government, judiciary and Parliament by providing access to high quality justice, legal and corrective services, information and products.
We provide a diverse range of services which support Western Australians:
- Justice services including courts and tribunals, corrective services, offender management and community safety and victim support
- Community services including advocacy, guardianship and administration, public trustee, and the births, deaths and marriages registry
- Government Services - policy advice and legislative drafting
About our program
Our 12 month graduate program provides recent university graduates an opportunity to launch their career, build core skills and embark on becoming a future leader.
Graduate officers undertake a combination of professional development sessions delivered by both the Public Sector Commission and the department, including leadership forums and cross agency networking opportunities.

- Participation in the Launch development program for university qualified staff new to the sector.

Our program is open to candidates studying a variety of degrees.

Applications are open from Monday 14 April to Monday 12 May 2025.
To be considered for this role, you must have at least a bachelor’s degree before the commencement date (February 2026). Your qualification must have been completed within 3 years of the commencement date.
