Who we are
The Department of Finance is a central agency providing a broad and unique range of services with a dynamic, flexible workforce that embraces our values.

About the program
Our 12 month program kickstarts your career with tailored training and rotations through 3 business areas that deliver quality outcomes for the Western Australian community.
It is open to graduates from all degrees as we focus on values rather than specific degrees. This is aligned with our values based culture which shapes how we work and what we expect from ourselves. Our values - empathy, clarity, collaboration and growth - guide every aspect of our operations.
You are supported by our comprehensive training and development program that helps you develop a strong foundation in the public sector.
Rotations through different business areas help you build professional relationships, gain hands on experience on a range of initiatives, and explore diverse career opportunities.
We have a team of over 1,000 staff delivering important work for Western Australia, made possible through multidisciplinary skills and backgrounds.
