About the program
This exciting 2 year graduate program is for students finishing a Bachelor of Science degree in geoscience or data science and eligible for an Honours or Masters degree in 2026.
The program gives you the competitive edge in the resources sector. It provides you with a broad range of advanced and applied geoscience skills, as well as a deep dive into how to access and use geoscience data.
It creates unique opportunities for knowledge sharing and on-the-job applied geoscience training. You acquire technical skills that are applicable across all industry sectors rather than being industry or task specific. This competitive edge enables you to enter the resources sector with confidence and make a positive difference.
In the first year of the program your Honours or Masters studies are supported by a stipend of $35,000 - $50,000, $12,000 to $20,000 of course fees and $5,000 to 15,000 of research support funds, depending on the type of degree.
In the second year, after you complete your Honours or Masters degree, you work as a full time employee with a starting salary of $90,256 a year, plus 11.5% superannuation.
