The Department of the Premier and Cabinet is a central agency within the Western Australian Government meaning we support the operations of government and public sector agencies.
We provide trusted policy advice, foster strong partnerships and deliver high quality strategic services that support the Premier and Cabinet in serving the WA community.

About the program
Our 12 month graduate program provides a unique opportunity to kickstart your career in government leadership, policy development and strategy.
It consists of 3 rotations across diverse teams, exposing you to exciting high impact projects that shape government policies and influence decisions at the highest levels.
As a graduate officer, you contribute to whole of government policy solutions, strategic initiatives and high level advice provided to the Premier, ministers and key agencies.
Opportunities for rotations are available in any of our 6 divisions:
- Office of the Director General
- Intergovernmental Relations and Strategic Priorities
- Aboriginal Engagement and Community Policy
- Infrastructure, Economy and Recovery
- Office of Digital Government
- State Services, (Finance, IT, HR and Organisational Development).
