Complete an exemption report

Learn how to complete an exemption report through the WAIPS Portal.

An email notification from the WAIPS Portal will be sent to the supplier when an exemption report is due. 

  1. Log in to the Portal using the exemption report template link provided in the reminder email.
  2. Alternatively, navigate to the Exemption Reporting tab in the supplier dashboard and locate the relevant contract you are required to complete an exemption report for.
  3. Complete the exemption report template as required.
  4. Complete the form and click “Agree & Submit” on the Declaration page.
  5. The agency contact will be notified upon submission.

Progress on the form can be saved and returned to for completion later. To do this, click “Save for later” at the top of the left-hand navigation pane. To resume:

  1. Navigate to the Exemption Reporting page using the top navigation bar.
  2. Locate the relevant exemption report using filter by status or click on the table headings to order by name (A to Z) or time (oldest to newest).
  3. Click the down arrow next to the relevant record and select “View Details.”
  4. Scroll down to the relevant report due and click the down arrow next to the record to reveal a drop-down menu. To start an exemption report, click “Create Report”. To resume an exemption report you have already started click “Edit”.
  5. Complete the form and click “Agree & Submit” on the Declaration page.
