An exemption from WAIPS related requirements can only be applied for by the procuring agency. If the supplier is required to complete exemption reporting for a WA Government procurement tender, the procuring agency will typically include a reporting clause within the contract that notes this requirement. Whilst the supplier will not be required to complete a participation plan as part of their tender bid, as the winning supplier, they will be required to report on the employment and training outcomes that have been achieved throughout the contract. More information about reporting and compliance can be found on the Western Australian Industry Participation Strategy page.

- Reporting Overdue: An exemption report is currently overdue for completion (i.e., it has been 2 months or more since the contract completion date and the participation plan report is overdue).
