About our program
Government Sector Labour Relations (GSLR) is looking for exceptional people who have studied industrial relations or employee relations.
Commencing in mid January 2025, our 12 month program provides you with a rare opportunity to embark on an industrial relations career in the public sector. Graduates start the program in GSLR – a central agency function within the Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DEMIRS). This is followed by two ‘placements’ in other agencies to gain an insight into the management of operational workforce issues.
You must have completed (or will complete) an undergraduate degree or postgraduate qualification related to industrial relations, human resource management, psychology or workforce law between 2022 and 2024.
