Approving or declining a request

How to approve or decline a request.

You can manage the pending request from a representative to:

  • act on behalf of a business; or
  • extend the end date for an existing authorisation.

Once their request has been approved, the representative will then have authorisation to act on behalf of a business or a person.

Requests expire after 30 days.

Getting started

To approve or decline a request:

  • sign into the WARAM;
    • if processing a request relating to a business or volunteer organisation, ensure you have been authorised to administer the entity. If you do not have the necessary authorisation, submit a request and wait until your request is approved before continuing.
  • if there are pending requests, the “Pending requests” notification will appear on the dashboard under the “Welcome” section;
  • choose ”Pending requests”, on the “My dashboard” page;
  • find and review the appropriate request;
  • you can either decline the request or modify the details of the request and then approve;
  • the process is complete when the “Acknowledgement” page is displayed. The requestor will then be notified of the decision.
