Using the Online Services Portal Toolbar

The toolbar and quick links assist you to use the portal.

The toolbar in the top right corner of the screen displays three icons to assist you with using the portal

  • access your profile, your event log or change your password
  • access notifications
  • access unfinished requests or transactions

Quick Links on the right of the screen enable you to easily locate the service you require. Clicking on one of the Quick Links will take you away from the page you are on and open the linked page.

View your profile

The View your profile function will display the name, email address, phone number and address details provided during the registration process. Contact us to update any of these details.

View your event log

This provides a timeline of events that have taken place on your account. Click View Request to view the details of individual entries.

Click the arrow (>) beside the heading Filter the information shown to filter the information by year, month or type.

Click Close to return to your home page.

Change your password

After clicking Change your password, enter your existing/old password then enter your new password twice.

The new password must comply with the password policy and will be updated if it meets the criteria.

Logging out will end your current session.

If you choose to log out part way through a transaction, you will receive a warning message notifying you that any unsaved data will be lost.

Notifications - Duties

This is where you'll receive requisition requests for additional forms, further information or evidence, assessment notices and certificates of duty.

It's important to monitor your notifications as this is where you will receive acknowledgement of approvals to link to taxpayers, refund requests, lodged transactions and any other electronic communications we send you. A red indicator will appear over the ‘bell’ icon to indicate a notification has been received.

You'll receive an email each day that you have an outstanding (unread) notification.

You can click on the individual notification or View all notifications to view them in list form.

Requisition request

Requisitions are requests for additional information to assist with your duty assessment.

  • Click View to download a requisition.
  • Click Respond to respond to a requisition. On the following screen provide any additional information, upload any supporting documentation, and click OK when you are ready to send the additional information to the assessing officer.

Once submitted, you won't be able to add any further information to the requisition via the portal. To add information after submitting, you'll need to either contact us with the information or email the assessor directly.

Assessment notices

Click Download to access your assessment notice from the Notifications page or the Event Log.

After downloading, the assessment notice will only be accessible from the Event Log.

Certificate of duty

After payment has been made and processed, the transaction will appear as Endorsed and you can download the certificate of duty. You can print or download your certificate. Once printed, attach the certificate of duty to the original transaction record.

For certain transactions involving land, you won't be able to print the certificate of duty until mandatory information about the receiving party has been provided. You will be prompted to provide these details before printing the certificate.

After printing or downloading your certificate, it will only be accessible from the Event Log.

Notifications - FHOG

This is where you can check the status of your first home owner grant (FHOG) application after it has been lodged with a financial institution or with RevenueWA.

It's important to monitor your notifications as this is where you will receive acknowledgement of approvals to link to taxpayers, refund requests, lodged transactions and any other electronic communications we send you. A red indicator will appear over the ‘bell’ icon to indicate a notification has been received.

You'll receive an email each day that you have an outstanding (unread) notification.

Pending

Your application is still being processed.

  • You will be contacted if further information is required to determine eligibility.
  • Your application may take up to 7 days to process once we have received all required information.

Suspended, Cancelled, Rejected, Recovered, Funds Returned

Please contact either your financial institution or RevenueWA for more information.

Your application has been recommended for approval and will undergo final checks before a determination is made.

Approved

Your application has been approved.

Your application has been paid.

  • If you lodged your application with a financial institution, please contact your lender.
  • If you lodged with RevenueWA, please check the bank account you nominated in your application. It may take a few days for the payment to be received.

Notifications - Energy subsidies

This is where you’ll receive notifications about the stage of your application or renewal.

You will receive a notification when your application is lodged, approved for payment, declined or incomplete. A red indicator will appear over the ‘bell’ icon to indicate a notification has been received.

For renewal confirmations, you will receive a notification to complete the form or when the subsidy has expired.

Unfinished requests or transactions

To save an unfinished request or transaction, click Save for later beneath the Lodge/Submit button on the right of the screen. These can then be accessed from the toolbar. Click on the ‘briefcase’ icon to access the application.

Click on the request/transaction and continue with submission/lodgment.

For duties, if a saved transaction is not lodged within two months of the transaction date, a late lodgment penalty will apply.

For energy subsidies, new applications and renewal confirmations will appear as an unfinished request until the application or renewal is lodged, discarded or the medical authorisation is completed by the nominated doctor.
