What actions can I consider?
- Learn tips on creating an accessible and inclusive induction.
- Learn tips on supervising staff with disability and how to create a supportive, open working environment.
- Partner with your communications team to ensure induction materials meet accessibility and inclusivity standards and work with staff with disability to address barriers.
- Partner with new staff to give them opportunities to share information about their disability and/or accessibility needs with their teams.
- Discuss with new staff the individual and workplace training that may be available through the Employment Assistance Fund.
