Police issue fines for some liquor offences. They can be given to individuals or companies. 

You have 28 days from date of issue to pay the full amount:  

  • in person at any Australia Post location
  • by mailing a cheque or money order to:

          Commissioner of Police
          Payments Processing
          2 Adelaide Terrace
          East Perth WA 6004

  • online using Visa or Mastercard

If paying online, you will need the reference number on the bottom left of your fine.

Final demand

A final demand notice with additional costs is issued if you haven’t paid your original liquor fine by the payment due date.

If the final demand is not paid within another 28 days, your infringement will be recorded by the Fines Enforcement Registry which will incur additional costs. Payment can be made:

  • in person at any Australia Post location
  • by mailing a cheque or money order to:
