Privately owned vehicles
Complete the statement Part ‘F' on the infringement notice with their full details (name, date of birth and current address) and include the original infringement notice.
Once received, police will issue a new infringement to the nominated driver.
Business owned vehicles
The responsible person for a business owned vehicle will receive a Notice Requesting Information (NRI) (PDF, 60KB).
An NRI is not an infringement in the first instance but a request to supply details of the driver or person in charge of a vehicle at the time of an alleged offence.
Complete Division 1 ‘Driver or person in charge – known’, with their details (name, date of birth and current address) and include the original NRI.
Complete Division 2 if the vehicle was stolen at the time of offence or Division 3 if the driver is unknown.
