Participant requirements
To successfully complete the program participants are required to:
- be punctual
- actively engage in discussions and activities
- complete all pre and post work
- behave in a respectful manner
- commit to the scheduled dates of the program
- attend at least 80% of scheduled sessions to successfully complete the program
- uphold and display the behaviours outlined in the Leadership Expectations, Personal Leadership, Embody the spirit of the public service.
Privacy and data
- Information and data collected is used for program administration and reporting.
- All information and data collected is handled confidentially.
- In cases where third parties are involved (for example facilitators and platform providers), data is shared only as necessary.
- Email addresses may be shared with other participants in calendar invitations and emails for shared programs, courses or sessions.
Payments
- Fees cover the cost of facilitation, materials and other items specified in the course description on WA.gov.au.
- Once accepted into a program, an invoice is issued and full payment is due as stipulated on the invoice.
Program application and withdrawal
- Submitting an application for a course or program does not automatically mean acceptance into the program.
- If a participant needs to withdraw, no refund is granted once payment has been made and or once the invoice has been issued to the agency.
Program changes and cancellations
- The Public Sector Commission reserves the right to change, defer or cancel any aspects of the program at any time.
- If unforeseen circumstances require program cancellation, participants are notified as soon as possible and offered alternative dates once available.
Meeting participation requirements
- Concern regarding a participant not meeting the requirements (as outlined above) are first discussed with the participant.
- In the event the concern continues, the agency may be contacted.
- Participants may be removed from the program if they continue to fail to meet expectations.
- In the event of removal from the program, a refund is not provided.
