Business closure over the Christmas and New Year period

The Apprenticeship Office will be closed from Wednesday 25 December 2024 to Wednesday 1 January 2025 and will reopen on Thursday 2 January 2025. 

The 13 19 54 Apprenticeship Office Helpline will not be operational during this time. Please email your enquiries to ApprenticeshipOffice@dtwd.wa.gov.au

  • Training contracts can continue to be lodged during the closure and will be assessed from when the office reopens on Thursday 2 January 2025.
  • Training contracts changes can still be submitted via the Western Australian Apprenticeship Management System (WAAMS) online client portal during the closure period.
  • Emails or other training contract related requests received during the closure will be actioned from 2 January 2025.

Our role and responsibility is in accordance with Part 7 of the Vocational Education and Training Act 1996 (the Act), the associated Regulations, and the WA Apprenticeship and traineeship policy.
