To be considered for a place in the topic/s selected, participants need to:
- commit to a 10-week learning program
- attend all workshops and coaching sessions
- seek manager approval to attend including approval for the program cost of $918.
Cohort composition
A maximum of 25 participants are accepted for each topic. To help strengthen diversity in public sector leadership, each group is comprised of participants from diverse backgrounds including, where possible, those from the 6 priority groups of the Workforce Diversification and Inclusion Strategy for WA Public Sector Employment 2020-2025.
The learning experience is also enriched by including participants in each group from a range of work roles, professional backgrounds and employing agencies. All these factors are considered when reviewing applications and selecting participants.
Participant preferences
When applying, applicants are asked to select a topic or topics they wish to undertake and dates in order of preference. Participants are enrolled in their highest available preference.
Where none of the selected preferences can be offered, an applicant is advised and placed on a waiting list for the next round of topics.
