Government legislation and regulations are reviewed under its provisions and to ensure they are current, compliant, fit for purpose and meet the needs of stakeholders.  

These guidelines outline a typical process and key considerations for most legislative reviews. 

In this guide:

  • receiving authority is the entity or person who requested the review and receives the final report
  • review governing body is an entity which directs the review and reports to the receiving authority.
