How we will provide opportunities for broad consultation on the development of a the 10-year plan
Last updated:

About

Through a 4-phase consultation plan we will engage with and across government, industry, universities and the community to develop an understanding of state of science, technology and the associated research and development in Western Australia.

There will be many opportunities for engagement throughout the development of the Plan.

Key engagement opportunities:

Phase 1

Workshops to identify priority areas and brainstorm an ambitious vision for the future. These will be held in Perth and across the regions.

Phase 2

A survey will be conducted in this phase to verify priority areas and the vision as well as to ask targeted questions about goals. Public submissions will also be available at this time.

Phase 3

Themed roundtables will be held across Perth and the regions to determine key actions to support the vision and goals of the Plan.

Phase 4

A draft Science and Technology Plan will be circulated in early 2024 for feedback prior to finalisation.
