Facilitating linkages across government agencies and between industry, research and academic organisations at local, national and international levels. Leveraging co-investment from the private sector, federal, state and local governments, universities and other funding bodies - including WA's Cyber Security, Data Science and Life Sciences Innovation Hubs. Supporting the growth of the space sector to create jobs, diversify the economy, drive innovation and inspire a passion for STEM. Delivering the Western Australian Government's STEM Strategy including the Professional Learning and Mentoring program, Digital and Technology Skills Program and the Take 2 STEM campaign. Providing a long-term setting for the research and development programs across WA. Supporting the coordination of research and development across government to enable efficiencies of scale and scope to be identified. Supporting and facilitating initiatives that diversify our economy and create new jobs and industries. Attracting investment in innovation. Supporting the capability and economic sustainability of regional economies.
