Our CEO determines a licence application and the Minister for Fisheries determines a lease application.
We will aim to provide the statement of decision or relevant considerations document to the CEO or the Minister within 14 days of receiving your response to the submissions.
We can determine the application when we have received all the advice. After the CEO and the Minister have determined the relevant application, we will:
- provide written advice to the applicant, including advice on any issues raised during the assessment process
- advertise the decision in accordance with the provisions of the relevant act, and
- email those who made submissions to advise that information regarding the decision for the licence (confidential information redacted) is available on our website.
