You can book your driving test by phone, in person or online.
Online bookings are not available for the following licences:
- Heavy Combination vehicle class
- Multi Combination vehicle class
- overseas licence that has expired
- extraordinary licence applications
- conditional licence applications
- senior licence renewals, for applicant aged 85 years or more
- if you have a medical condition and the assessment process is incomplete
- your licence or learner’s permit is subject to any penalties.
You will need to visit a Driver and Vehicle Services centre or regional DoT office or call 13 11 56 to book.
If you cancel less than 2 full working days before your test you will have to pay again to make a booking.
Payment can be made using Mastercard or Visa when booking online.
