- where computers or other devices are integral to an offence (such as online scams / frauds).
- Email, online and telephone scams (including scams from interstate or overseas) should be reported to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission’s Scamwatch website(link is external).
- Financial and investment scams and fraud should be reported to the Australian Securities and Investments Commission(link is external) (ASIC).

- Banking and credit card fraud (such as if bank account or credit card has been compromised should be reported to your bank immediately.
