A key part of the Pilbara Energy Transition is the work of the State Government in collaboration with Traditional Owners to acknowledge and preserve the unique cultural heritage and Country of the Pilbara as we move toward a clean energy future.

Making the transition to low emissions renewable energy is an important step in limiting the impact of climate change and protecting the land, sea, sky and waterways.

An important part of the Pilbara Energy Transition (PET) Plan is ensuring that the unique cultural heritage and Country of each of the 32 Traditional Owner groups across the region is protected and respected.
