One of the safest places in the world to visit, Western Australia is home to top-ranked education institutes with more than 125 high-quality education providers offering excellent programs, a great lifestyle and a wealth of employment opportunities.

Through the Western Australian Government’s $195 million Reconnect WA Plan, $77 million Safe Transition Industry Support Package and additional boost of $41.2 million announced in the 2022-23 State Budget, a number of programs will be available to support International Education providers and international students. These include:

  • International Student Accommodation Subsidy;
  • International Student ELICOS Bursary;
  • Agent Incentive Scheme;
  • Scholarships;
  • Familiarisation programs.

A support payment open to eligible international postgraduate students to offset course fees and other university costs.

ELICOS Teacher's Subsidy

Applications for this program have closed. The subsidy offers a support payment towards a Cambridge CELTA qualification.
International education - accommodation funds

International Student Accommodation Subsidy

Applications for this program have closed. The subsidy offers a support payment to offset living costs while studying.
International education - agent incentive scheme

International Student ELICOS Bursary

Applications for this program have closed. The bursary offers a support payment to offset fees for an approved ELICOS course.
