The Western Australian Government has launched an annual bursary aimed at attracting international offshore Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) graduates to the State’s universities.
The Western Australian Premier’s WACE Bursary has opened for Semester 1, 2023 applications. The annual scholarship provides up to 50 international WACE graduates with a one-off payment of $20,000.
This Bursary will run annually until 2026 providing a total of $4 million in scholarship support to international WACE graduates who commence studies in-person at a Western Australian university. Scholarships are an important tool in building Western Australia’s reputation as a reliable and desirable education destination. This funding forms part of the Western Australian Government’s $41.2 million in initiatives to support and attract international students.
