The Revised Standards for Registered Training Organisations are made up of:

All RTOs are required to comply with this policy, in addition to the  Outcome Standards and the Credential Policy.


The Compliance Requirements are made up of 21 Requirements split into 3 areas and 2 Schedules:

Information and transparency

  1. Information management
  2. Marketing and advertising

Integrity of nationally recognised training products

  1. AQF certification documentation
  2. Student identifiers
  3. Nationally recognised training logo
  4. Transition of training products

Accountability         

  1. Annual declaration on compliance
  2. Notification of material changes
  3. Third party arrangements
  4. Prepaid fee protection measures
  5. Public liability insurance
  6. Compliance with other requirements

Schedule 1  – fit and proper person requirements

Schedule 2 – nationally recognised training logo conditions of use policy
