“Installing the chargers has enabled visitors to charge up while they enjoy the winery.”

Sustainability is at the heart of Juniper’s philosophy, achieving certification for the winery’s sites under the Sustainable Winemaking Australia scheme in 2023.

Juniper has been conscious of the benefits of installing EV chargers for its customers since installing a 40kW solar system two years ago.

“The Charge Up Grants provided a good opportunity for Juniper to cost-effectively help its customers make the switch to EVs.”

Juniper worked closely with its electrical contractor to determine the best value combination of chargers and installation site, selecting the site closest to the switchboard where EV drivers could have easy access to the cellar door entrance.

Juniper has seen an increase in visitors since installing the chargers, with drivers charging up while they enjoy the winery. Juniper plans to make best use of these chargers, looking to support the transition of staff and company vehicles.
