Sustainability is at the heart of Juniper’s philosophy, having achieved certification for the winery’s sites under the Sustainable Winemaking Australia scheme in 2023.
Juniper has been conscious of the benefits of installing EV chargers for its customers since installing a 40kW solar system two years ago.
“The Charge Up Grants provided a good opportunity for Juniper to cost-effectively help its customers make the switch to EVs.”
Juniper worked closely with its electrical contractor to determine which combination of chargers and installation site would be the best value. They selected the site closest to the switchboard where EV drivers could easily access the cellar door entrance.
Juniper has seen an increase in visitors since installing the chargers, with drivers charging up while they enjoy the winery. They are now focussed on supporting the transition of staff and company vehicles to EV with the help of their chargers.
