How to restore your Restricted Electrical Licence (Disconnect/Reconnect)
Expired up to two years
To restore a restricted electrical licence (disconnect/reconnect) that has been expired up to two years you can use our online restoration service.
To use the restoration service you will need to know your licence number, which can be found on the front of your licence, have 100 points of ID in accordance with the Fact Sheet Proof of identity requirements for applicants for an electrical licence and complete the fit and proper assessment.
Fit and Proper Assessment
National Police Check: A person is required to provide an Australian Police Check from the approved list of providers, available here: Police checks for licensing. The date of issue of the Australian Police Check must be within three months of the date you lodge it.
To safeguard your personal information, you will need to have an email address or mobile telephone number currently recorded with Licensing Services so that when prompted, we can SMS and/or email you your one-time security access code.
Online restoration service
Before commencing the online restoration process you must:
- Know your licence number.
- Have 100 points of ID ready to upload.
- Have a complete fit and proper assessment ready to upload.
