This Working Group was nominated by MAC at its meeting on 14 December 2007. The group’s scope was to consider and assess the current terms and conditions under which Demand Side Management (DSM) is provided. The group discussed and developed proposed improvements to enhance the operation of DSM in the Reserve Capacity Mechanism of the WEM. The group’s first meeting was held on 31 January 2008 and it had its sixth and final meeting on 1 May 2008. The Working Group delivered a rule change discussion paper at the MAC meeting on 14 May 2008.
