The development of a new Youth Action Plan demonstrates the State Government's commitment to engaging with and providing a voice to young people on matters that relate to them.

The State Government recognises the enormous contribution that young people make to the social, cultural and economic fabric of WA. Young people account for almost 20 per cent of WA's population, with 19 per cent living in regional WA.

Young people and other interested stakeholders are encouraged to have their say by making a submission and subscribing to the Young People Connect WA database.

For more information, visit our A new Action Plan for young people in Western Australia page.

Any individual or organisation can make a submission or complete the survey in response to the consultation paper.

A series of forums will also be held across WA in October and November this year to gather the views and aspirations of young people, which will inform the actions government will take to improve outcomes for young people.
