New Lifetime category for Volunteer Service Awards

Five extraordinary Western Australians who have each dedicated more than 60 years of voluntary service to a single organisation were celebrated at an event at Parliament House on 24 November.

Anne Brinkworth, Norma Beer OAM, Margaret Bettenay, Shirley Schneider and Irene Morcombe are the first ever recipients of the Lifetime Volunteer Service Award which will be offered from 2023 as part of the WA Volunteer Service Awards.
