COVID-19 restrictions mean many traditional ANZAC Day services have been cancelled or drastically altered due to social distancing directives and all West Australians have been urged to limit any travel unless it is necessary.

WA’s intra-regional travel ban remains and all West Australians are reminded to stay home, however for those people who need to use the roads, double demerit points will be in force for the ANZAC Day long weekend (Friday April 24 until Monday April 27 inclusive).

Road users are urged to take extra care on Saturday morning as many West Australians will partake in ANZAC Day commemorations by holding their own ‘driveway’ dawn service to honour Australia’s servicemen and women.
