If your household or small business electricity account is with Synergy or Horizon Power, you do not need to do anything. Synergy and Horizon Power will apply the credit directly to eligible electricity accounts automatically over two payments of $350 for households and $362.50 for small businesses in the July-August billing cycle and the December-January billing cycle. Further information is available on the Synergy and Horizon Power websites.

For households that do not have an account with Synergy or Horizon Power, applications for assistance are open until 30 Nov 2024 via the  Department of Finance (RevenueWA) online portal.

Applications for the credit for small businesses that receive their electricity through an embedded network supply arrangement are now open via the Small Business Development Corporation. Applications close 31 January 2025.
