If you engage in commercial fishing in Western Australia, such as Masters and Crew of licensed fishing boats, you must hold a valid commercial fishing licence issued by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development.
You can download and complete an application form (PDF) and pay in person at any Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development Fisheries office.

To apply online, log in to the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development’s licensing portal, create a new application and fill in the requested details. Payment of the application fee can be made securely using Visa or Mastercard.
