The data accessed by this application, which are stored in the Western Australian Geochemistry or WACHEM database, are automatically updated every weekday, and made available as comma-separated files.
GeoChem Extract allows downloads of geochemistry data for the entire State, a selected map sheet, or any area defined by selecting specific latitude and longitude coordinates. Data from the WACHEM database, as well as public company surface geochemistry, can be queried spatially and textually via the ‘Geochemistry’ search tool in GeoVIEW.WA.
GSWA geochemical datasets include geochemistry for bedrock and regolith. The latter comprise more than 20,000 analyses obtained during the regional regolith geochemistry programs.
