For suppliers

The Supplier Wage Audit Unit conduct audits on behalf of contracting agencies.
Last updated:

The WA government entity will notify suppliers if they have been selected for an audit. Suppliers are required to provide an audit contact to represent them throughout the audit and will work directly with the Supplier Wage Audit Unit (SWAU).

The SWAU will conduct the audit on behalf of the contracting agency according to established contract terms and conditions.

The audit begins with an entrance meeting with the suppliers nominated contact, the contracting agency, and the SWAU to discuss the process and the required de-identified records to be shared. The SWAU will review the information provided and may request additional information or clarify details if needed. The audit process will end with an exit meeting to discuss the findings.
