Privacy statement

If you create an account directly on this website or otherwise express your interest in becoming a member of a board or committee (e.g. by contacting a department or Minister directly), the information you submit will be retained for use in keeping with the purposes of the OnBoardWA register, which is managed by DPC in liaison with the Public Sector Commission.

To protect your privacy, DPC moderates the level of access given to administrators and decision-makers, only permitting access to your information for official and appropriate purposes. Access to your information is logged by the system, and ministerial and departmental staff are subject to relevant codes of conduct and behaviour. The website uses SSL-certified encryption to protect your information.

Can I remove myself from the register?

Once registered, you can login at any time to review or update your registration. You can also check inactive on your registration if you want your details to be excluded from future consideration, but this does not remove your details from the system and you can reactivate your registration by logging in and unchecking this box at any time.

If you wish your details to be removed permanently from the register, you need to contact us by email at boards@dpc.wa.gov.au. Please be aware that while your extended personal and professional details may be deleted, some basic information (including your name, date registered, and any correspondence relating to your request for removal) may be retained consistent with DPC’s obligation to maintain accurate and complete records in keeping with the State Records Act 2000.

Conditions of use

Any information you provide as part of your OnBoardWA registration (including your personal and professional information) or outside of the website (e.g. via direct email, through phone calls or during meetings and interviews-whether about yourself or others-must be truthful and accurate. Any information you submit on behalf of or relating to someone else must be given only with their consent. DPC, in its absolute discretion, may modify a person's registration, or deregister, remove, ban or otherwise prevent the consideration of any person for any reason, including those who do not abide by these conditions.
