The winners of the 2022 Western Australia Innovator of the Year (WAIOTY) Awards were announced at a ceremony on Monday, 5 December.
The Western Australia Innovator of the Year program has showcased innovative and entrepreneurial individuals, businesses and creative minds since 2006.
It also provides a platform to take an idea or product in the early stages of development to the next stage, with professional and financial support, including training and mentoring.
Over the years, the program has been a valuable initiative, providing support to innovators and entrepreneurs across WA.
The WA Innovator of the Year Awards are funded through the Western Australian Government’s New Industries Fund (NIF). The NIF is a $16.7 million commitment over four years that supports the acceleration of new and emerging businesses in WA, to diversify the economy and create new jobs and industries.
