The impact of sexual harassment affects people in different ways. If you need support, there are a number of services available.

  • If you are in immediate danger, please call 000.

  • Western Australia Police Force: Report a crime. Call 131 444.

  • SMSAssist | Western Australia Police Force: a text messaging service for people who are deaf, hard of hearing or speech impaired, which can be used for contracting the WA Police Fore and requesting assistance. To use SMSAssist call 0403 277 478.

  • 1800RESPECT: National Sexual Assault, Domestic Family Violence Counselling Service: a national telephone and online counselling and referral service. Call 1800 737 732.

  • Sexual Assault Resource Centre (SARC): A range of free services to people affected by sexual violence. Call (08) 6458 1828 or free call 1800 199 888.

  • Full Stop Australia: Trauma specialist counselling, education and advocacy available 24 hours a day via telephone or online chat. Call 1800 385 578.

  • Beyond Blue: Anxiety, depression and suicide prevention support. Call 1300 22 46 36.

  • Lifeline Australia: Crisis support and suicide prevention service available 24 hours per day. Call 13 11 44.

  • Kids Helpline: For young people 5-25 years. Anytime. Any reason. Call 1800 55 18 00.
