Women's health needs change throughout life. From the day we are born, we are constantly learning, growing and developing, and so is our body and its hormone balance. Luma’s health experts will support you to better understand the hormonal changes that occur during perimenopause and The Menopause, their impact on physical and mental wellbeing, how we can manage symptoms and reduce risk of other health conditions. This promises to be an insightful and interactive presentation.

Ishar Multicultural Women's Health Services invites you to our International Women's Day Fundraising Breakfast sponsored by Minderoo Foundation.

Since 1995, women have broken barriers, reshaped policies, and ignited powerful movements worldwide. Despite these advances, millions of women and girls still face systemic inequalities, rising violence, and economic disparities that hold them back from reaching their full potential!

All proceeds go towards investing in Ishar's youth services and women's programs, which are vital services that support vulnerable refugee and migrant women and girls who have experienced family and domestic violence and/or sexual abuse, in healing and rebuilding their lives on their own terms.

Our guest speakers will share insights on how different industries and sectors are taking action to advance women's opportunities and help them march forward.

Women’s lives, despite over 150 years of feminist action, remain unequal under patriarchy. In popular music charts, women represent only 35% of performing artists, 19.5% of songwriters and 6.5% of producers.* While gains are being made in all of these areas, women must continually battle to make their voices heard.

This International Women’s Day, we’re celebrating and amplifying women’s artistic expression in a mega mixed bill choir extravaganza at The Rosemount. Join Hengequeens and some of our favourite choirs - Menagerie, Peppermint, Perth Harmony Chorus, She Shants and Voicemale -  for an afternoon of songs by, for and about women.

Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Women’s Forum, Nari Nikunja Australia (NNA), is guided by the motto “For the Women By the Women" with the strong notion of "empowering women". Since inception, it has been supporting women through its various projects like income generation for women back home, awareness projects and capacity building for women in Australia and in Nepal. NRNA Women’s Forum is led by volunteer women, and we organise our projects with the generous support of local businesses.
