Home Stretch WA service provider information
The Department of Communities has commissioned the following organisations to deliver the Home Stretch WA program across the state.
Metropolitan Perth
Yorganop delivers the program to eligible young Aboriginal people in metropolitan Perth.
Wanslea delivers the program to all eligible young people in the Rockingham and Peel areas, with Salvation Army servicing all other areas of metropolitan Perth.
Karla Kuliny Aboriginal Organisation has recently been appointed to deliver the program to eligible young Aboriginal people in the south west and south east corridor of metropolitan Perth (Armadale, Cannington, Fremantle, Rockingham and Peel). This service will commence soon.
Regional WA
South West and Great Southern regions
Mission Australia has partnered with the South West Aboriginal Medical Service to deliver the program to eligible young people in the South-West region.
Mission Australia has partnered with Albany Youth Support Association to support delivery of the program in the Great Southern region.
Kimberley and Pilbara regions
The following Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs) deliver the program to eligible young people in the Kimberley and Pilbara regions:
- Broome Youth and Families Hub Inc, servicing Broome, Derby and surrounding communities.
- Marra Worra Worra Aboriginal Corporation, servicing Fitzroy Crossing and surrounding communities.
- Jungarni-Jutiya Indigenous Corporation, servicing Halls Creek and surrounding communities.
- Yawoorroong Miriuwung Gajerrong Yirrgeb Noong Dawang Aboriginal Corporation (MG Corporation), servicing Kununurra, Wyndham and surrounding communities.
- Robe River Kuruma, servicing Karratha, Roebourne and Wickham in the Pilbara region.
- Bloodwood Tree Association, servicing Port Hedland, Marble Bar, Newman, Warralong and Yandeyarra in the Pilbara region.
Mid-West Gascoyne region
Geraldton Streetwork Aboriginal Corporation delivers the program in the Midwest and Gascoyne regions.
Goldfields region
The Goldfields Indigenous Housing Organisation Inc. (GIHO) recently commenced delivery of the program to eligible young people living in the Goldfields–Esperance region.
Wheatbelt region
Yorganop has recently been appointed to deliver the program in the Wheatbelt. The service will commence soon.
