Michelle and Carly first became foster carers for the Department of Communities in 2014 and they are currently providing long-term care for four children, aged between one and eight.

Michelle and Carly are acknowledged for the high-level of care they provide to children, and their passion for caring for vulnerable children. Michelle and Carly support and strengthen connection to family and culture. They actively engage with the children’s family members, and form connections in the community that are meaningful to the children in their care.

Michelle and Carly have found a joy and passion in fostering and always put their hand up to help where they can. Michelle also assists the Department by sharing her knowledge and experience with prospective foster carers.
