Connecting DLGs with community

Town Team Movement is a not-for-profit social enterprise dedicated to building a movement of changemakers in local communities and governments. They work with communities and partners to help make public spaces reflective of local needs, using placemaking and a people-led approach.

  • Cate Baker has been a placemaker with the Town Team Movement consulting team for more than three years, collaborating on projects involving place activation, community engagement, capacity building, place plans and supporting place strategy implementation for local and State governments and private sector clients. Cate’s consulting role is combined with supporting, connecting and promoting new and existing Town Teams, with a focus on Perth’s north metropolitan corridor and the Fremantle area. After 17 years in the commercial property industry, post graduate studies led to placemaking. Cate has loved the change of scenery and is passionate about contributing to create better places and enabling active citizens in their local communities.
  • Patrycja Rosinska is an experienced and passionate Arts and Culture, Community Development and Engagement, Business Development and Place Activation specialist. Using two decades of expertise, she delivers strategies and high-quality capacity building and community programs that create opportunities for people to connect and engage and improve liveability of local communities. Patrycja is the Town Team Movement’s Community and Place Specialist delivering consultancy and project management services. She is a passionate and experienced operator in the Pilbara and well connected across the region as the lead in northern WA. She co-founded Portside Town Team, 49th Town Team in Australia and NZ and the first in WA’s north west.
