These responsibilities include: planning and implementation of capital programs such as refurbishments, co-location and fit-outs of office accommodation, oversight and management of all Communities leases by identifying the requirements of present and future office accommodation needs and managing the government vehicle fleet and booking system.
Lawyers and Legal Support Officers

This might include urgent child protection and tenancy issues, representation for court applications, appeals and prosecutions, advice on complex and compliance matters related to service delivery, contracts and commercial matters, governance and integrity issues and property and construction advice for housing matters, projects and developments and GST issues.
Finance Professionals

Procurement and Contract Management Officers

They undertake activities such as delivering training and education, coordinating whole of government procurement and contract management reporting requirements, developing and maintaining procurement and contract management frameworks, policy, guidelines and templates and coordinating various internal and external audits to ensure compliance with relevant legislative, government and department policy requirements.
Administration Officers

This area coordinates all Ministerial and Director General Correspondence, Parliamentary matters and Cabinet matters for Communities.
