Stronger Together - WA's Plan for Gender Equality

Plan
The State Government has released a plan to address gender inequality in Western Australia.
Last updated:

Stronger Together: WA’s Plan for Gender Equality is WA’s first plan to support a gender equal community. It provides a framework for coordinated action by Government, business, organisations and individuals with practical steps to advance gender equality over the next 10 years.

Stronger Together sets out how the Government will lead the way to bring about generational change and create a better, fairer and more equitable community in Western Australia.

Stronger Together is being delivered through four Action Plans across 10 years 2020–2030 and will respond to current and emerging priorities in Western Australia. The Second Action Plan 2021-2025 is building on advances made by Government in the initial phase of delivery and includes actions across the four priority action areas of Stronger Together:

  • Safety and Justice
  • Health and Wellbeing
  • Leadership
  • Economic Independence
