Community Cabinet

The WA Government established this program to reach a number of regional locations each year. Each visit comprises a formal Cabinet meeting and may include formal and informal community consultations, often tied in with major announcements affecting the individual region or the wider State.

Regional Parliament

Since 2008, the State Parliament has held a regional sitting of the Legislative Assembly (or Lower House) in Bunbury.

These sittings bring the traditions and protocols of Parliament to regional communities.

There are also meetings, consultations and events at which people living in the State's regional centres are able to interact with Members of the Government and the State Opposition.
