The WA Government has introduced the Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing Bill to Parliament to reform privacy protections for individuals and the accountability of information sharing within government.
The proposed legislation will provide Western Australians with more control over their personal information, improve the delivery of government services and create local research and development opportunities.
