As a part of the South West Native Title Settlement, the WA Department of Communities Housing will transfer 121 housing properties located in the south west region and metropolitan area to the Noongar Boodja Trust.
Funds will also be available to refurbish or upgrade these properties if required. The properties will be held by the Trust, which is bound by the Indigenous Land Use Agreements to manage, invest and/or develop the properties in consultation with the relevant Noongar regional corporations.
Information about the location of the 121 properties is confidential and will not be disclosed.
