Department of Communities Disability Access and Inclusion Plan

Plan
Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) from the Department of Communities.
Last updated:

The Disability Services Act 1993 requires all local government and selected State Government agencies to develop a plan to assist in the promotion of access and inclusion of people with a disability.

Disability Access and Inclusion Plans (DAIPs) act as a framework for the implementation of strategies and initiatives to ensure people with disability are supported to have the same opportunities as others to access services, facilities and information.

The Department of Communities has enacted DAIPs over a number of years and continues to build new plans to address current needs and strive for better outcomes.
