Biography
Jessica Stojkovski was elected to State Parliament in 2017 as the Member for Kingsley. Upon her election to parliament Jessica was appointed as a member of the Joint Standing Committee on the Commissioner for Children and Young People from June 2017 to January 2021.
After her re-election in March 2021, Jessica was appointed as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Transport; Planning; Ports. In the planning portfolio she was responsible for the planning reform public consultation across the state. In December 2022, she was also appointed as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Housing; Lands; Homelessness; Local Government. With the election of Roger Cook as Premier in mid-2023, she became the Parliamentary Secretary to the Premier; Minister for State and Industry Development, Jobs and Trade; Public Sector Management; Federal-State Relations and Parliamentary Secretary of the Cabinet. One of her proudest achievements is overseeing the second phase of the Aboriginal Cultural Centre planning project.
Born and raised in Perth to Irish parents, Jessica has a passion for performing arts and music and has performed in a number of amateur and semi professional theatre productions in Perth. Jessica has a Bachelor of Planning (Policy and Governance) and a Diploma of Event Management. Immediately before entering Parliament, Jessica worked as a strategic town planner at the City of Wanneroo. She has also owned a party hire business and worked in Government Relations.
Jessica and her husband Siljan have two children. With two very sporty children, when not in Parliament Jessica can usually be found beside a basketball court or next to a soccer field.
